Built by OUC, the City of Orlando, and Orlando Science Center this first-of-its-kind tiny home offers a hands-on experience through interactive displays with digital components to educate visitors on energy and water conservation, sustainability rebates, vehicle electrification, renewables, composting and food gardens. It includes a functioning roof-top solar array and a rain barrel to collect and conserve water, among other green features visitors can add to their own homes.
The ribbon cutting event included Mayor of the City of Orlando, Buddy Dyer, OUC General Manager and CEO, Clint Bullock and Orlando Science Center President and CEO, JoAnn Newman.
